This is one match that promises so much and will certainly deliver. Both countries are among the very best in Africa, the have represented the continent several times at the work cup, they boast of arrays of stars and other qualities that constitute a big team.
NIGERIA: The Super Eagles of Nigeria cannot afford to grab the sole ticket of this group of death, since they did not qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations. And if the must qualify, this is one match the cannot afford to loose. The team has shown intend with an away win against Zambia on match day 1, a result that has aroused appetite of ever demanding Nigerian fans. The newly appointed manager Rorh will do well to announce himself and secure trust and confidence from the fans by winning this match.
In Manchester City kid prodigy Kelechi Iheanacho, Arsenal’s wonder boy Alex Iweobi, Chelsea’ Victor Moses, Leicester City Ahmed Musa, Watford’ Odion Ighalo he has players to subdue equally star studded Algeria. The major minus for the Nigerian team is the absence of first-choice goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, who has been ruled out due to a hip injury after he has established himself in the Eagles goal since his debut in September 2015.South Africa-based Daniel Akpeyi was a late replacement for Ikeme and will jostle for the first shirt with Portugal-based Dele Alampasu and Ikechukwu Ezenwa from FC IfeanyiUbah
ALGERIA: The Desert Foxes is the highest ranked team is Africa and is for a reason. The have a good team hence their conviction that they ought to be in Moscow come 2018.Newly appointed coach, George Leekens handed call-ups 18 foreign professionals with five locals to be named.

Nigeria vs Algeria: It will be a tight game and close to call, but with home surport and determination Nigeria will win
GHANA VS EGYPT
African World Cup Qualifying Group E remains very tight, with each team having played only one match to date. The group consists of Congo, Egypt, Ghana and Uganda.
Egypt welcome Ghana to the Borg El Arab Stadium, Alexandria for the second round of matches in Group E and Egypt come into the match top of the group. Thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah, just before half-time and Abdallah El-Said, not long into the second half, Egypt came from a goal down in Congo, to win the match 2-1 and claim maximum points.
However, Ghana were forced to settle for a point against Uganda and will be disappointed to have dropped points, in a home match they would have expected to win. Neither team could make the breakthrough during the 90 minutes and the match finished 0-0, much to the delight of the travelling Uganda team.
With only one team qualifying from each group, Ghana now have work to do because a defeat in this match, with see them 5 points adrift of Egypt, after only two games played.
Egypt and Ghana met during qualification for the 2014 World Cup, with mixed results. Ghana completely dominated their home match, defeating Egypt 6-1, easily one of the biggest defeats in the history of Egyptian football. However, Egypt responded and defeated Ghana 2-1 at home, just a month later and their home form makes for very impressive reading. You must go back to 2004 to find the last time Egypt lost a home World Cup qualifying game and they have won their last 7 home qualification games in a row. Therefore, Egypt are favourites for this match, at 1.97 with Betin Kenya.
Ghana have won only 2 of their last 6 away World Cup qualification matches and this is set to be their toughest test in the group.
Egypt v Ghana Prediction
When Egypt play at home in World Cup qualifying, they like to entertain and have scored an average of just under 3.4 goals per game in their last 21 at home, which is an incredible record. There were also over 2.5 goals scored in their last 4 home qualifying matches and Egypt to win, with over 1.5 goals scored is possible
Ghana failed to find the back of the net against Uganda in the opening round of fixtures in Group E and in 5 of their last 6 defeats away from home in World Cup qualifying, they failed to score a goal. My prediction Egypt 2 Ghana
SOUTH AFRICA VS SENEGAL
Group D consists of Senegal, South Africa, Cape Verde and Burkina Faso. With one match played to date, Senegal top the group having defeated Cape Verde 2-0 at home, thanks to goals from Balde Keita and Moussa Sow, the man who recently scored a spectacular overhead kick against Manchester United for his club team, Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
South Africa, who welcome Senegal to the Peter Mokaba Stadium, currently sit second in the group, having been held to a 1-1 draw in Burkina Faso. It was a tight game but when Dean Furman opened the scoring for South Africa in the 80th minute, Bafana Bafana thought they have all three points in the bag. However, a late rally from Burkina Faso saw them equalise one minute into injury time, to send the home fans wild.
Having dropped points at Burkina Faso, South Africa cannot afford to lose any more ground to Senegal, this early in the group.
South Africa vs Senegal: Head-to-Head Stats
South Africa are unbeaten in the last four meetings with Senegal, however three of them are draws. The latest meeting was in a friendly on September 2015 at South Africa and the hosts won the fixture with the help of a late goal by Mpho Makola.
However, Senegal did grab a win when they visited South Africa for a friendly on 2005. They drew and lost in the subsequent two visits.
South Africa vs Senegal: Prediction
Senegal are currently on a slightly better form as compared to South Africa. They won the last 6 matches in all competitions and conceded just once. They have also scored 2 goals each in those games.
While South Africa are unbeaten in the last 13 fixtures, but were held to draw in 3 of the last 4. Also they haven’t scored more than a goal in those fixtures. Their main problem is the inability to hold on to slender leads and finish off the matches, even against weaker opponents.
Based on above stats, it is very evident that this will be a tightly contested match. However, previous matches of both teams suggest that goals will fall at both ends. Senegal are a very capable side, but South Africa won’t bow down easily and therefore a draw seems a fair result for both teams.
